It’s a Special, Women in STEM Friday

Whether you’re a top-tier executive or exploring new opportunities, #TGIF!
If you don’t LOVE your job, Friday doesn’t play favorites, and it doesn’t matter if you’re CEO or the janitor, everyone gets their turn, so why not at least enjoy it.
This Friday is special: it is right next door to the International Women in STEM Day, created to help ladies beat the job blues by finding their love at work, or the work they love rather. In reality, as is often the case with activism, the good idea has been distorted and only added to the number of people celebrating TGIF at least weekly. But I’ll stop my “mansplaining” here
Today, let’s take a moment to honor the art of navigating career paths, particularly for women in STEM. No doubt, they have saved their folks repeatedly, like our beloved Rosie the Riveter (pictured on the #poster from #COMA) did under the pressure of the circumstances some 80 years ago. Let’s not put undue social pressure on them today, forcing them to demonstrate resilience and adaptability in the face of social arrogance and corporate absurdity.
Cheers to all ladies, and may your Friday be filled with laughter and love, genuine or feigned.
Here’s more weekend reading on the topic. And if you’re craving more doses of corporate humour and (de)motivation, swing by our COMA Gallery and – better! – become a VIP in COMA by contributing to the collection. Because in the world of absurdity, sometimes you need more of it to keep your sanity intact.
